I was so inspired that my friend @livylovestorun posted her weight yesterday. Weight is a funny thing. It’s definitely something that I have always struggled with in the healthy lifestyle. I remember when I was 19 I was at my lightest weight but thinking back I wasn’t nourishing my body with enough food or proper exercise. I probably had like no muscle mass because I was such a wuss, ha! Isn’t that funny how weight works? So, why is the weight issue a struggle? I think it’s because people are curious about other people’s weight. And we have been conditioned to be self-conscious of a dumb number on the scale. The scale doesn’t tell anyone about the food you are putting in your body. The scale doesn’t tell a person that you had a serious non-scale victory the day before and you ran miles and miles! The scale doesn’t tell you jack squat. So this is me burning my scale number, because a number is just a number.
